Brightening hand cream

The Alpine Plant Derived Complex is composed of seven Swiss Alpine Plants selected for their potent skin brightening activity to reduce skin discoloration, age spots and an uneven skin tone over time. It is the signature ingredient for Skincode’s Essentials Alpine White Collection.

CM-Glucan is the signature, medical grade and patented active ingredient found in all the Skincode Essentials products. Purified from the cell walls of baker’s yeast, this active ingredient has the proven ability to stimulate the skin’s own defense mechanism, to accelerate skin regeneration and to reduce wrinkle depth. CM-Glucan enhances the skin’s resistance to UVA induced oxidative stress, as well as other environmental hazards. It enhances the turnover of cell renewal and accelerates skin recovery, while restoring the skin’s moisture barrier. It is also known as the repair and defense molecule.

Niacinamide, also known as Vitamin B3, works to restore the natural moisture level of the skin by stimulating the production of skin-strengthening ceramides. It has shown to reduce the appearance of skin discoloration and blotchiness, while protecting the skin against oxidative stresses.

Vitamin C is a strong anti-oxidant that promotes collagen synthesis. It also inactivates Tyrosinase, the enzyme involved in the release of melanin, which leads to skin darkening and uneven pigmentation. As a result it helps to reduce skin discoloration and age spots, while promoting an overall more even skin tone.

Vitamin E has strong anti-oxidizing and moisturizing properties. It helps to enhance the skin glow and tones the tissues. It plays an important role in the prevention of skin damage due to UVA and UVB radiation.
